If you like this, no bad blood I just didn't enjoy. I don't know why people glazed this so much. True that some of the things in the anime is impressive but overall it's very dissapointing. The pacing is bad, the story for me felt really cringe. But probably the worse part of this anime is the 3d animations. People who called this "Arcane" style animation is insulting people who worked on Arcane. Animations I've seen on this show is super stiff past the first ep, did we use all of our budget ep 1 who knows…, however they clearly have the talent and the music is really fun and super in theme for this show.

Listen this shit aint groundbreaking but its mad enjoyable. Animation is great, character design and the plot is decent enough. All sports anime lately (even the low rated ones) are pretty good at conveying "doesn't it feel good to work at something and then overcome those physical/mental challenges?" and this one is no exception. I'm glad they decided not to ground it in realism, it definitely gives off more of a skateboarding video game vibe with the stunts + good soundtrack.

Really breathtaking sounds. It truly is a maximalist record—each track builds really well. There some really nice layering and dreamy textures.Opener “Polaris” is simply lovely, its early stages built on mild, nearly folk-ish, instrumentation before building into washed-out grandeur which echoes the cover’s feeling of cozy winter-iness (it’s a word, trust me). For favorite song: “Arrival” ... it's a standout—an absolutely massive song that perfectly captures the spirit of the album for me.

With dramatic contrasts of light and shadow, Doré’s works evoke the complexity of Abrahamic religious themes—grief, awe, doubt, and transcendence—without reducing them to simple moral binaries. His imagery captures the emotional weight of scripture, portraying divine and human experiences with ambiguity, tension, and a sense of the sublime.Really incredible stuff.

If you want to understand the soul of this sites webmaster listen to "Best in Show Pt. IV" off the albumn. Aside from that while not as conceptually strong as their previous two records I still think this fucking slaps and I can’t stop listening to it.The element of pathos injected into the proceedings with ‘Medicine for Horses’ and ‘River King’ feels like new territory for the band. Great to see them grow as artists but retain their core essence and unhinged energy.I also now know the difference between a bog and a swamp.Ultiamtly, it;s hilarious, fun, punk as shit in some places, dancey and silly in others. And yes, I'll galze the shit out of this band mind your business. For me a solid 10/10 and a banging good time, off to look at pictures of your mom’s flappy giblets!

Caspar David Friedrich: The Soul of Nature hit me at exactly the right (or maybe wrong?) moment in my life. I walked into the exhibition feeling untethered—one of those strange in-between phases where everything feels like it’s shifting but nothing has actually changed yet. Then there it was: "Monk by the Sea", that tiny, solitary figure swallowed by a vast, moody sky.Friedrich’s art isn’t just about nature; it’s about confronting the sublime—the overwhelming vastness of existence—with nothing but your own quiet presence. His sparse compositions, often with a single figure dwarfed by nature, reflect the Romantic belief that the divine and the mysterious reside not in ornate altarpieces, but in wind, fog, and fading light. His use of Rückenfigur invites you into the scene not as a viewer, but as a fellow wanderer. Seeing his work in person—paintings I thought I already knew—felt like looking in a mirror that reflected not just me, but some deeper, more existential version of myself. The show’s curatorial framing, situating Friedrich’s work within 19th-century German sociopolitical turbulence and Romantic introspection, only deepened the emotional resonance. One of the more impactful curations I've seen since studying abroad.

Mononoke (absolutely not to be confused with the Ghibli film) is a really great supernatural mystery/horror show with a very unique, hyper-colorful visual design, and a really great sound design too. We follow a clearly not entirely human Medicine Seller through feudal (and briefly early-20th-century) Japan in his eternal quest to slay Mononoke (demons created by the fusing of otherwise peaceful spirits with human anger, regret, and despair). Off the bat this sounds like a generic action series, but it absolutely is not. In fact, the Medicine Seller acts more like an enlightened supernatural detective - and by necessity, for to be able to unsheathe his sword and transform into his (possibly) true/divine form to deliver a killing blow, he needs to first know the Mononoke's Form (appearance), Truth (behavior), and Regret (reason for its existence/actions), concepts taken directly from Buddhist philosophy. These, in turn, are intimately connected to the secret past, innermost desires, or true nature of each arc's characters, which are gradually revealed in more or less overt form as the arcs go on.Overall, this is a strikingly, uniquely colorful peice of media with inspiration from Japanese traditional art as well as Western Art Nouveau.

My favorite Super-Moneky ball game, I'm so shit at the game...and it plays really really well on the PSVita, I'd say that its formatted better for the PSVita console than its native platform which was ported to the GameCube.

Frieren was prettty unique in its setup which was a breath of fresh air in a way.Usually in other shows we have the protagonist and his team going to hunt down the main antagonist, which is something that has been done multiple and multiple of times...hetting a lil generic, but frieren changes this concept by having the main antagonist (the demon king) being defeated by himmel and his party first. Which really caught my attention and made me interested. Aimation very fun and colour pallet so satisfying.

I grew up on some of the original Sonic the Hedgehog games, and I'll admit—I had a bit of a crush on Tails when I was younger. They absolutely did him justice. What really made the experience fun were all the little nods and references to the games sprinkled throughout. If you're a longtime fan, you'll definitely catch some moments that make you smile. That said, go into it knowing it's a kids' movie—it has its fair share of cheesy and cringy humor. But if you embrace that for what it is, it's honestly just a good time.

Inspired by seven unearthed images from a priests mission this film is a masterclass in visual artistry. Shot on 35mm film, its use of celluloid creates a deep, tangible connection to both landscape and the portraiture the people. One of the film's most compelling elements is the language barrier between the Icelandic and Danish characters. This aspect is woven seamlessly into the narrative, making the subtitles essential to fully appreciating the clever wordplay and deeper themes. Adding to the film's eerie, immersive quality is its haunting soundtrack. Genuinelly made me tear up at one point

Perverts is an experimental albumn that leans more toward the ambient stylings of Aphex Twin. According to Ethel, the EP was originally centered around Knockemstiff's overarching theme of various forms of perversion, though only Punish and Amber Waves remained from that initial concept. While I would have preferred a more dedicated commitment to that theme, its remnants are still deeply embedded in the albumn's progression, casting a dark and immersive atmosphere. Following the extended lo-fi ambiance of the opener, the lead single, Houseofpsychoticwomn, emerges. Despite having the most intriguing title, it stands as my least favorite track, as it closely mirrors the sound of the opener. However, its inclusion is justified—it fulfills its intended role, weaving together unsettling layers of dark ambient textures and a lingering guitar riff, all underscored by a chillingly monotonous repetition of "I love you." For me, not my kind of music but while listening the albumn evokes a complex range of emotions—repulsion, existential dread, sorrow, and even awe at its sheer beauty—while incorporating profound references to philosophy and religion. I respect this albumn deeply

So Metallica's music video for the song "One" uses clips from the 1971 film "Johnny Got His Gun" (based on the 1939 novel of the same name by Dalton Trumbo)- figured I shoudl read the book cause my fav Metallica song uses it.It's really powerful, especially any time there's just a long string of "no no no no no." Also, I have to admit that it really made me aware of my body in interesting ways, like when Joe is trying to feel each nerve ending in his face to discover how much of it is left and where the hole is - hard not to close your eyes and try to focus on specific nerves. What stuck with me is how prescient it is. The narrator realizes that he's essentially a prototype, that the military realizes that his incredibly uncommon case will be the norm in future wars. The introduction to the text I read was a heavy reflection on the Iraq War. Interesting tidbit: Trumbo had a hard time with this novel historically speaking. It was first printed about two weeks before Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia, and Trumbo himself was not opposed to WWII. He wrote an introduction to the novel's 1950s edition that made this clear and that admitted he was uncomfortable with the pacifist encouragement he received in the 1930s and 1940s because most of those people seemed less anti-war and more anti-intervention-because-pro-Nazi.

Poorly Drawn" by Tipless is a unapologetic punk album (and for once it really is punk). The lead singers voice is PERFECT and she really digs into aspects of politcal hypocrisy in such a satisfying way. My favorite off the albumn has to be "They were not roommates, they were lovers." The line "Trans kids are not your enemy, and if you really cared about protecting the children like you say you do, the suicide rates of queer youth would fucking horrify you, if you MEAN WHAT YOU SAY" thrives on this confrontational energy—shouting back at outdated molds and false allyship in the way I wish I could confront these kinds of people. By blending blistering punk instrumentals with lyrics that refuse to beg for understanding, Poorly Drawn really was an awesome album

Really enjoyed the whole thing. Maomao is 10/10 protagonist. While there -are- a lot of smaller "mystery of the week" things going on, there are also just enough hints and teases at bigger overarching plot points that makes everything feel meaningful in some way.SPOILER:Reunion between Lakan and Fengxiao is so emotional even though I dislike both of them, just like how Maomao dislike them.

I love it when something that seems completely unremarkable at first turns out to leave a lasting impression on the soul. Please, Touch The Artwork 2 is exactly that. With this game, Thomas Waterzooi seems to be sharing a powerful but often overlooked message: "An artist lives on as long as their work does." And in the broadest sense, that couldn't be more true. So here's my heartfelt advice—if you're feeling drained by the chaos of the world, the injustice, and if the grass outside your window still hasn't started to grow, take a moment to touch the paintings. It's surprisingly comforting

This study is a well-executed and insightful analysis of how democracy (specifically liberal dem) shapes trade policy. Main takeaway showing that while democracy reduces tariffs, it leads to higher core NTBs like quotas and even higher quality NTBs such as product standards.
